Résumé: Hamar country in southern Ethiopia has always faced the problem of drought. Baldambe, an old Hamar man, explains in a series of interviews with the filmmakers and students of Addis Abeba University how the Hamar keep goats, grow sorghum, collect wild honey and distribute water. Recently, however, life has become harder due to severe drought. Baldambe therefore calls for rain with the help of a blessing.
