This sacred mountain, off limits to women, is regarded as the home of divinities and immortals as well as the mother's womb : a site of rebirth, catharsis, and healing. Returning with them to the sprawling metropolises they call home, we discover pilgrims' motivations and integration of lessons learned from nature in daily life. Might the two be seen as one ?
