  • lds04: Indiqué sur la jaquette : Both ethnic groups come from China, and started to migrate south in the 18th century, Lolo was the ancient name of the people who are now called Yi, an important ethnic group within the Tibeto-burmese ethno linguistic category spread from southern chinesprovince of Sichuan to northern Vietnam, while the Dao (pronounced Zao in vietnamese and Yao in chinese) belong to the Miao-Yao or Hmong-Mien ethno linguistic category, originating from southern chinese provinces of Guizhou, Guanxi and Yunnan. The Lolo divide themselves in Ha Giang province in different sub groups the flower Lolo and the Black Lolo (who call themselves Losso), numbering over 3000 people, but related to millions in China. The Dao divide themselves in 2 main groups the red who call themselves Moon, the dao cham are a sub group of the moon outside of the main Moon group of the lantien Yao (dark blue Yao), they live in southern China, northern Vietnam and northern Thailand.
